1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of wesandev.com and any quote, project or service agreed with WesanDev IT Company, a business registered in Tanzania under the Business Names Act (Cap 213), BRELA Registration No. 713059. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

We provide software development, computer systems design, computer consultancy and related installation/setup services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline and price for any project are agreed separately in writing (quotation, proposal or contract) before work begins — the information on this website is descriptive and does not itself constitute a binding offer.

3. Quotes and payment

Quotes are valid for the period stated in the quotation document, or 30 days if none is stated.
Payment terms (deposit, milestones, final payment) are set out in the agreed quotation or contract for each project.
Ongoing services (hosting, support, subscriptions) are billed on the schedule agreed at the start of that service.

4. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ownership of custom-built software transfers to the client upon full payment. WesanDev IT Company retains the right to reuse general-purpose components, frameworks and know-how developed during a project in other work. Content published in the Academy library (tutorials, templates, videos) remains the property of WesanDev IT Company and is provided for personal/business use, not resale or redistribution, unless stated otherwise.

5. Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, timely feedback, and any content/assets needed to complete a project. Delays in providing these may affect delivery timelines.

6. Liability

We work to deliver reliable, well-tested systems, but software can never be guaranteed fault-free. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for that specific project or service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for issues arising from third-party services we integrate with (e.g. payment gateways, SMS providers, app stores) but do not control.

7. Acceptable use of this website

You agree not to misuse this website — including attempting unauthorised access, disrupting its operation, or using content from the Academy library beyond the permitted use described above.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any dispute will first be handled through good-faith discussion between the parties.
